Answer:

D) People were in despair following the loss of the war, the Great Depression, and the ineffectiveness of the Weimar government.

Explanation:

The Germans were not prepared for the defeat of WWI. The loss of the war hurt the German national pride. Many started to claim that Germany lost the war because many such as leftwing politicians and jews stabbed Germany in the back. The Weimar Republic, a new government tried to establish a democratic course but the regime was not able to handle the depressed economy and the public disorder the war caused. The German population was bitter and after the Treaty of Versailles, the German Worker’s Party started to gather public attention by encouraging national pride, militarism, and commitment. Hitler, the leader of the party claimed that Germans were racially pure and condemned the Jews for causing all of the problems that Germany had during that period.

What was the importance of the edict of milan
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

Religious Tolerance of Christians

Explanation:

During this time and before, Christians in the Roman Empire were often the scapegoat of most small and big problems that occurred within the Empire. Until the Reign of Emperor Constantine the Great which lasted from 306-337 A.D, Christians were violently persecuted for their beliefs. Constantine himself was a Christian and thus wished to see his own Brothers and Sisters of the faith sparred the fate of death. Thus in 313 A.D, He was a great influencing factor in the acceptance and eventual proclamation of the Edict of Milan, which as a whole stopped the Persecution of Christians and eventually paved the way for Christianity to become the State Religion of Rome later in 323 A.D.
