Contemporary Issues are those issues affecting a group of people that is often unresolved. Contemporary issues in addendum to culture shapes our worldview because a person, for example, living in a 3rd world country faces an uphill task because of the arrays of issues plaguing his country. These kinds of people usually see the world differently than how those who grew up in the first world does. There is the question of culture, an African has his culture, so does someone who grew up in far Asia and their cultures are distinct. They both have things they hold in high esteem, which might be worthless to the other culture.

This is why there is always different schools of thoughts.
