what is more important what a person thinks or what a preson thinks or what a preson does write a short essay regarding the topi
VikaD [51]
A person can think however they want. Actions, like many have said, define a person in the end. Someone can advocate for peace with malicious intent, but they will still likely be remembered for advocating peace and not for their impure motivations. If these contradicting images are revealed to the public, that is still an act against that person, and is no longer a thought.

However, this is only from the public's view. When it comes to people, they may as well be the embodiment of their thoughts. Everything is fueled by something. The same person who seeds their own goals under the guise of peace will not think of themselves as one who acts with the intentions of bringing peace. They will be looking to call forth whatever it is that they want, and be aware that what they present to the public is not the truth.

So, both points are arguable. It depends on whether you value the individual or the community. Actions are what are remembered, and thoughts are a person's reason. Even today, this comes into relevancy because people want to know why certain figures in history did what they did. Thoughts make a person human, after all. Without thought, seperation of man and beast would be nigh impossible. Without action, man would have been left behind long ago. Both thought and action are important indeed.

Which statement BEST describes the difference in how Melody and her coach view the base position? A. Melody and the coach both t
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

D. Melody thinks the base position is not important and that it is less valuable than flyer; her coach thinks the base position supports the whole team.

Explanation:

Throughout the story, its obvious to see Melody's frustration that she can't fly in the air and that she feels that the base positions is pointless. To support my answer, here are some quotes from the passage that evidently shows that she wasn't pleased with the results that came to her.

<u>Melody:</u>

"Well, Melody was definitely not laughing with her. Was this some sort of mean joke to keep Melody from getting the attention she deserved as a flyer?"

"Melody had not been in a cheerful spirit since her coach listed the line–up for the stunting routine for the competition."

"Melody could not understand why her coach had dismissed her from the position when she knew that she could handle the pressure of the competition."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is some evidence to support my answer that the coach thinks the base position is quite prominent to the whole team.

<u>The Coach</u>

"I am very proud of you for taking on the new base position for this competition. I hope you realized the importance of being the base because it is the foundation that holds the entire stunt group together. You are definitely a star Melody, so do not ever worry about that. I appreciate you stepping out of the spotlight to let someone else have her moment to shine. You are a true star in my eyes."

"<u>After practice, the cheer coach pulled Melody aside and congratulated her on her efforts in the base team</u>. "I always know I can count on you, Melody. We may have to reassign your stunt position full time. This might be your new calling," <u>she laughed</u>."

I hoped this helped a lot!
