Lesotho is landlocked within the territory of South Africa. Landlocked means that is it is entirely surrounded by land and has no coastline or seaport. Lesotho is one of the sixteen countries in Africa that have no access to the sea. As a result, it depends financially on South Africa, to which is economically fused.
