What word best describes the relationship between Buck and John Thornton?

Love and attachment both were there, but best word to describe their relationship according to me would be C. Attachment. Buck killed the Indians because they killed John, that' revenge according to us. There's revenge in friendship in love but I am saying C. because, in love and friendship theoretically you won't necessarily kill someone, but when you are attached to something, you definitely could. To an animal love and friendship or trust doesn't mean anything. To them it's only attachment. Many suggest that it is A. Love, but it is my personal opinion. You could go with either one.

The terms “masculine” and “feminine” refer to a person’s _________.
aniked [119]

The correct answer is B. Gender

Explanation:

"Gender" and "Sex" are both terms used to classify human beings according to sexuality; however, these two terms are not interchangeable as its essence or definition is different. To begin with, sex refers to the biological aspects of human beings that made them women or men or female or males determined by differences in genes and genitalia. On the other hand, gender refers to the role and identity of individuals that made society and individuals be classified into masculine or feminine; although many other genders have emerged in the last decades. Considering this, it can be concluded, the terms "masculine" and "feminine" refer only to gender as "masculine" and "feminine" do not describe biological aspects of people but roles, and identity of people.

Mars2501 [29]

Activity theorists contend that older people will only be content when they can still contribute to society and be helpful, primarily through engaging in meaningful job for which they are compensated.

What exactly is activity theory?

The implicit theory of aging, normal theory of aging, and lay theory of aging are other names for the activity theory, which puts out the idea that good ageing happens when older people remain active and retain social relationships.

What is the basis for the activity theory?

A conceptual framework called "activity theory" comes from the socio-cultural school of Russian psychology. The framework's fundamental idea is "activity," which is interpreted as the deliberate, transformative, and evolving interaction between actors (also known as "subjects") and the world (also known as "objects").

In what system does an individual's social class dictate what work the person can do and who the person can marry? A) caste syst
mr Goodwill [35]

The correct answer is A) Caste system

The caste system has been implemented at different times in history and different places of all over the world. Some examples of it are the separation into white people and other ethnics in the European colonialist empires.

The most important caste system in the world is maybe the Indian caste system which is a very old and widespread tradition especially in the rural sectors of the country.

The caste system have the following characteristics:

 • It is a social system in which personal status is awarded for life, therefore in societies organized by castes the different strata are closed and the individual must remain in the social stratum in which he was born.
 • The characteristics that differentiate the different social strata are: race, religion, etc. that he accidentally acquires at birth and with which he can not change.
 • Caste societies can be seen as a class society in which social class is acquired at birth. Caste systems reject close relationships with members of other castes.
 • That "purity" of castes is usually maintained by an inbreeding rule, marriage must be between persons of the same social group.
