The older generations are not used to devices like phones and tablets, therefore they do not have the need to use them. The other way around, the new generation is getting more technical advanced, therefore it is common for young people these days to use their phone and/or tablet often.

Also, you can see that the young people (who is supposed to have well functioning bodies) is sitting in an uncomfortable position, like their bodies has become old and tired, meanwhile the old couple’s bodies seems fresh and fit.

That way I think the photo is trying to tell us to stop wasting our lives with a phone, and should be more social and welcoming towards others, like people were back in time (maybe the artist is refereeing to their childhood to show that they miss a part of that?).

Technology can drive us apart from each other, the young couple on their phones are busy with their screens while the older couple is spending the last of their lives together and appreciating the moment while doing so.

In this excerpt from Politics and the English Language Orwell uses evidence to support the underline claim. He does this by B) He quotes a pamphlet that uses unoriginal language. Orwell mentions a pamphlet he received about conditions in Germany. He quotes this pamphlet and then states that the author of the pamphlet uses words that sound familiarly "dreary". Orwell uses this pamphlet as an example to prove his claim that language degraded from previous years.

velikii [3]

In this case, Akela is appealing to Mowgli's sense of compassion. When one gives a look of pity, he knows that Mowgli has a tough decision to make, especially since Akela has always abided by the laws of the jungle. But in order for Akela to live, he must appeal to Mowgli's sense of compassion for life of all creatures thereby putting the law of the jungle by the waist side. The evidence is not really presented here, so you will need to look for pieces of evidence that show Mowgli being a compassionate character.
