On September 11, 2001, at 8:45 AM a Boeing 767 with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The crash left a hole on the 80th floor of the 110 story skyscraper killing hundreds of people and trapping everyone in higher floors. 18 minutes later another Boeing 767 crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center near the 60th floor.
