What was the effect of the extensive Mongol Empire on the people who lived in Europe and Asia in the 1200s? please help me understand this question

It effected them by putting the people normally under a pretty regular loose rule to an iron fist dictator that controlled everything. also the Chinese and South Asians were not warriors but good merchants the mongols were a warrior culture so it was opposite to their way of life. Europe was effected because the Mongols raised prices of goods way up making everything in Europe more expensive
