With a lack of resources, businesses are not able to keep up with production, causing a drop in products. with the drop in products will cause many businesses to lose money, and employees would have to be let go. aid farmers were to not be able to produce or sale their crops, they would not be able to make any profit, and the crops would not be used and would eventually rot. without the crops could bring a lack food in the cities. an example of a lack of resources is in the great depression with the dust bowl that caused the soil to be taken away from farms, and dust storms ravaged the plains.
