What good man like and dislikes

English
1 answer:
Aleksandr [31]3 years ago
5 0

Answer:

"many men have" many minds,"

A man likes modesty, but he is disgusted with mock prudery.

He likes a girl who understands masculine sports. and can appreciate skilful games; but he does not like to have her appreciation extend to playing base ball herself.

He likes a hint of daring flashing through a woman's nature, but he wants it hidden and controlled. Then he enjoys thinking how he can develop this dangerous trait, and congratulates himself on being an excellent fellow when he does not attempt it.

Men like women with ideas of their own, but they are afraid of women with theories or hobbies. A woman with a hobby needs to carefully blanket and stable it away from the eyes of a man whom she desires to please.

Grandfather teaches his grandson to respect nature (theme or characterization)
romanna [79]

Answer:

Characterization is your best answer.

Explanation:

This shows that the Grandfather is very fond of nature or very fearful (a character trait of his), and that he is teaching his grandson to carry on this trait of "respecting" nature. It is not a theme, for it does not have enough information or is not the central topic within the writing.

Explain why an author might choose precise words over vague words.
IgorC [24]
An author might choose precise words over
vague words because the author could want the
reader to visualize the writing. The reader could
be confused and visualize something else
entirely if the author uses vague words. A good
example is if the writer is writing instructions, hel
she would need to be very specific. Another
example is if the writer is composing a poem, it
would be best if he/she uses precise words of
what they're describing. Ex., Vague: The flower
is pretty. Precise: The pink tulip bloomed
beautifully.
