Rewrite the eqn to become the following:

2x-4x+3y+5
= -2x+3y+5
^ this is the answer.

Always try to rewrite the eqn to see if there are similar terms that can be added or subtracted.

(Would appreciate if this answer was given branliest :) )

The statements below can be used to prove that the triangles are similar.
ki77a [65]

Answer:

StartFraction B C Over Y Z EndFraction = StartFraction 6 Over 3 EndFraction

Step-by-step explanation:

It is stated that both triangles satisfy the Side Side Side (SSS) postulate, and the proportions between 2 sides are provided, therefore, the missing proportion is needed to prove that the triangles are similar, that proportion is: BC/YZ = 6/3

What is the value of x in the circle on the right
german

To solve this we need to use Pythagorean theorem

{x}^{2} + {14}^{2} = (9 + x) ^{2} \\ {x}^{2} + 196 = 81 + 18x + {x}^{2} \\ 18x = 115 \\ x = 6.3(8) \simeq6.4

Answer: x≈6.4

Suppose that S is the set of successful students in a classroom, and that F stands for the set of freshmen students in that clas
lora16 [44]

Answer:

b) 24

Step-by-step explanation:

We solve building the Venn's diagram of these sets.

We have that n(S) is the number of succesful students in a classroom.

n(F) is the number of freshmen student in that classroom.

We have that:

n(S) = n(s) + n(S \cap F)

In which n(s) are those who are succeful but not freshmen and n(S \cap F) are those who are succesful and freshmen.

By the same logic, we also have that:

n(F) = n(f) + n(S \cap F)

The union is:

n(S \cup F) = n(s) + n(f) + n(S \cap F)

In which

n(S \cup F) = 58

n(s) = n(S) - n(S \cap F) = 54 - n(S \cap F)

n(f) = n(F) - n(S \cap F) = 28 - n(S \cap F)

So

n(S \cup F) = n(s) + n(f) + n(S \cap F)

58 = 54 - n(S \cap F) + 28 - n(S \cap F) + n(S \cap F)

n(S \cap F) = 24

So the correct answer is:

b) 24
