The correct answer is W.E.B. Dubois.

The prominent civil rights leader that would have disagreed most with Washington’s approach to solving the problem of racial inequality in the South is W.E.B. Dubois.

William Edward Burghardt Dubois (1868-1963) was an activist, journalist, and professor that supported the rights of African Americans. With other activists, he founded the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People or N.A.A.C.P. He was the first African American to obtain a Ph. D. at Harvard University and he strongly criticized Booker T. Washington for not demanding equality for Black people.

In the presidential election of 1824, who received the most votes but failed to win a majority of either the popular or electora
HACTEHA [7]
I don’t believe this question truly applies to any of the candidates, but I would have to go with Andrew Jackson. Jackson won the popular vote and had the most total votes, but John Adams still won in electoral college. Therefore Jackson would be your answer because he received the most votes but failed to gain the majority of the electoral college.
