Answer:

People now think of the earth orbiting the sun.

Explanation:

   Before, people used to believe that God held them most important.  They thought that the earth was in the center with the other "planets" orbiting it.  But no, The sun is the thing we orbit around.  Galileo Galilei helped show the world that Aristotle was wrong (people didn't really accept it until after he was dead for religious reasons that I explained already).  

(This is mostly about Galileo G.  I realize that now).
