X2/y+x2/
x=6
y=-4
z=-2

6✖️2/-4➕6✖️2
6✖️2=12
This goes for both due to PEMDAS
Now it looks like this:
12/-4➕12

-4➕12= 8

Now it looks like this:
12/8

Since there was no z then -2 wouldn’t be needed

So your answer would be 12/8

Hope this helps! :3

Does anyone understand how to do this? If you do can you explain how I solve it and receive the answer?
UNO [17]

Answer:

slope-intercept form equation: y = x + 5

Step-by-step explanation:

you take the 2 y's, 18 and -13, then you subtract them: 18 - (-13) = 31

then you take the 2 x's, 13 and -18, subtract them too: 13 - (-18) = 31

divide those 2 sums: 31/31  = 1

so the slope is 1

then when you graph it you get an y-intercept of 5

so the equation is y = x + 5

hope this helps :)

The equation of a curve is y = x³ + 4x. Show that the value of y increases when x increases. ² is a decreasing function.
belka [17]

We will see that f'(x) > 0, which means that f(x) is an increasing function.

<h3>How to prove that the function is increasing?</h3>

For any function f(x), if f'(x) > 0, then f(x) is increasing for any value of x.

Here we have the cubic function:

f(x) = x³ + 4x

If we differentiate this, we get:

f'(x) = df(x)/dx = 3x² + 4.

And notice that x² is always positive, then f'(x) > 0, which means that f(x) is an increasing function.

what is the measure of angle a enter your answer as a decimal in the box round only your final answer to the nearest hundredth
harkovskaia [24]

ANSWER.

The measure of angle A is 53.13°.

STEP BY STEP

Given,

ABC is a triangle,

In which m∠CBA = 90°, AB = 3 cm, BC = 4 cm and CA = 5 cm,

By the law of sine,

 ( By cross multiplication )

By substituting the values,

 ( sin 90° = 1 )

<u>Hence, the measure of angle A is </u><u>53.13°.</u>

Okay. So the equation is 4x² - 16. We're talking about moving 7 units to the right and 3 units down. That formula would be h(x) = 4(x - 7)² - 19, because you would add -3 to the -16 units to get -19, and you would put the parenthesis around x and the 7 in order for it to move right. Keep in mind that parenthesis around x and a term means that we move either left or right, which didn't occur in the original equation. -16 is the amount of units down and adding -3 to it makes it -19. The answer is A.
