The correct answer is - <span>their fate is a matter of happenstance.
People who have a strong external locus of control tend to believe that everything that happens to them is out of their hands, that it depends on somebody or something else other than themselves. They might believe that it is a coincidence/fate that something happened to them, regardless of the fact whether or not they put any effort to make that happen.

Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

The answer is option D, because that is exactly the place were she was when the crime took place. she would be able to give vivid details of the crime by standing at that window and recollecting the whole scene. She cant remember what happened after taking alcohol to calm herself donw, it should take her up to a week because she was not the victim of the crime sghe is only a witness, from  the passage, it was not stated that the crime happened at night. So the best answer is option D, from the options above as by the window where she watched the man steal the bike is were she can remember what has actually happened.

Argue for or against the death penalty. Do you think the threat of the death penalty is successful or unsuccessful in discouragi
poizon [28]

Answer: I wrote this just now. Hope it helps!

I don't agree with the death penalty for most cases. I only agree with the death penalty for cases in which there are multiple convictions, such as someone who murdered 20 people, or someone who caused a terrorist attack that killed 10 people. However, for cases such as someone who murdered one person, I do not agree with the death penalty, because there are cases where people are wrongfully convicted, but those are much rarer in instances of multiple convictions.

I think the threat of death penalty is not successful in discouraging people from committing murder, because we have the death penalty now and people commit murder at a very high rate. What we need is more mental health resources so people with disorders and mental health issues can get proper help BEFORE committing a horrible crime. I think the death penalty is only constitutional if the criminal is convicted with killing multiple people on purpose, such as a mass shooting, terrorist attack, bombing, or something of that measure.

I hope this helps! :) Have a good day, I have to go so this is all I can answer for now, but good luck on your assignment.
