Leviafan [203]

Answer:Maybe?

Explanation:

This is just my opinion, but it may help. I do support DACA. I do because undocumented immigrants deserve the rights that americans have and

Just because undocuments immigrants came to the United states and had children shouldn't determine the fact wheater or not the children get deported. And their whole lives have been here. Trump may have tried to end the program to prevent undocumented immigrants from inhabiting in the usa. perserving daca could help students by letting them have normal lives with familar surroundings rather than be shipped off somewhere unfamiliar.

hope this helps!

+from whom did modern democracies learn how to safeguard against tyranny by dividing the government's power among different part
bixtya [17]

Division of powers consists on breaking down the power of the state in three independent pillars: a legislature, an executive, and a judiciary.

This system was claimed by the Enlightenment philosophers, like Montesquieu, as the alternative that should replace absolut monarchies that were operating in Europe at that time. The whole power was concentrated in one single man, the King. Moreover, it was believed that his power came directly from God.

It is important to remember that Enlightenment fought for reason over superstititions, the orthodoxy of religion or dogmatic beliefs. Therefore, this movement also claimed for political innovations, discarding the belief of power coming from God, and willing to make effective the fact that actually power comes the people in the country.

Based on the first paragraph, identify ONE argument made in the “classic narrative” of the Columbian encounter.
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

The "Columbian encounter" is called the event that occurred on October 12, 1492, when Christopher Columbus and a group of Spanish soldiers became the first European to set foot on the American continent. Thus, from this moment, which is considered as the discovery of America, the Spanish Empire and the remaining European powers (Portugal, France, Great Britain and the Netherlands mainly) began to establish colonies on the continent, starting the exploitation of their territories and natural resources. In the classic narrative of this event, the natives are called savages, as they supposedly were wild and violent, which is tendentious in that their behavior only responded to the violence with which the Europeans handled themselves during the conquest of their ancestral territories.
