The correct answer is "The Phoenician alphabet became the basis for all written language and influenced Canaanite writing." This is because

The Phoenician alphabet sometimes referred to as Proto-Canaanite script, was originated in the Sinai Peninsula around the 15th century BC to describe the Egyptian hieroglyphs.

How did the industrial revolution change society during the gilded age
Sindrei [870]
It happened in the 1800’s it allowed a lot more people to get paid more from their jobs resulting in a higher standard of living. This is where unions came in the picture, they wanted 8 hour work days and no child labor. The gilded age is known as a prosperous time for the nation but the government was very corrupt. There were corrupt industrialists, bankers and politicians who stole and benefited from the working class.

*The trans continental railroad made more people move west and created “robber barons”

*Since the government was corrupt muckrakers became a thing, the muckrakers exposed government corruption and such

How did railroad building lead to increased division between the North and South?
spin [16.1K]
It's C

The north had the money, the people, and the industrial power to branch out the railroad networks. So following markets and money. The north built networks to the west.

The south in contrast was did not have the capacity to construct as much railroads as the north did so therefore there was less western expansion. As well the south had more interests building canals and shipping product of the states to England.
