Oceanic factors include the pressure gradient, temperature variations and salinity differences. Ex-oceanic factors are atmospheric pressure and winds, evaporation and precipitation. Tides caused by the gravitational pull of the Moon and the Sun also play role in the forming of oceanic currents.
