Answer:

Dust in the Wind (sorry if I'm too late)

Explanation:

What does the wind carry, I wonder

As my gaze wanders amid the empty fields

Over to the silver arms gently rotating on their turrets.

Hopes and dreams, they seem to reply. Spinning ever so slowly and patiently, as if it is all they have ever done.

Hopes and dreams, they say. This is the birthplace of hopes and dreams. Of a single thought. Lighter than air itself.

They rise. Slowly. Out from the grass underneath my bare feet.

I hear their whispers. Feel their enchanting laughter.

So many wonderful dreams.

And the windmills turn still, beacons of hope against a clear blue sky.

Then the Wind rises.

And the dreams are carried aloft in the eve'ning breeze.

I mourn. My heart fills with longing, for I can never be as free as they.

Lighter than the air itself, they are uplifted gently by the gentle treading arms. And then, in a great rush.

They are dispersed. Thousands upon millions of hopes and dreams... scattered around the world for the lost and lonely hearts.

Like dust in the wind.

Answer:

Traveling, traveling,

down the road.

As I look outside

at the cliff below.

Windmills flowing

turning around

on the small narrow road

we're traveling on.

When will we get there

I wonder with glee

Then I see the mountains in the distance

a dot as small as a flea.
