Answer:

The answer is (A) the air was in the early morning; like the flap of a wave; the kiss of a wave.

Explanation:

The air was in the early morning; like the fold of a wave; the kiss of a wave. What a songbird! What a dive! For so it had dependably appeared to her, when, with a little squeak of the pivots, which she could hear now, she had blasted open the French windows and dove at Burton away from any detectable hindrance air. How new, how quiet, stiller than this obviously, the air was in the early morning; like the fold of a wave; the kiss of a wave; chill and sharp but then grave, feeling as she did, remaining there at the open window, that something dreadful was going to occur.

The sentence below summarizes an article in the print edition of the ESPN The Magazine. Which version avoids plagiarism by using
Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

d) The Waffle House restaurant chain serves as neutral territory where fans of opposing teams can bond over a shared love of personalized hash browns (Wilson, 2017).

Explanation:

When a summary is involved, the APA style for citation always follows the format where only the author's last name and the year of publication of the source are included in the in-text citation. This explains why (Wilson, 2017) the proper APA in-text citation format is. The only time the page number after the year of publication must be included in the in-text citation is when there is a direct quote. However, because the sentence simply summarizes an article from the print edition of ESPN The Magazine and is not a direct quote, the page number is not required. As a result, the correct sentence is: The Waffle House restaurant chain serves as a neutral territory where opposing team fans can bond over a shared love of personalized hash browns (Wilson, 2017).

Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

This question is about the poem "The Atheist And The Acorn".

Answer:

The details show that the scenario of the atheist's speech is a field, where some species of plants are cultivated.

Explanation:

In the poem the atheist begins to reflect on the existence of God through observation in some plants. That's because the atheist starts to think that plants are disorganized and that they don't make any sense, because small plants bear big fruits that they can't lift, while trees, they can hold big fruits, but they only hold small acorns. The presence of these plants allows us to infer that the speaker of the poem has a field as a scenario.

What the quote 1 means ??? Help pleaseee
Ira Lisetskai [31]
I interpreted it as what one sees in mainstream media affects their perspective of the world since as they begin to consume more of it by watching television or movies they unconsciously identify what they see as the societal norm. So for example, people constantly make jokes about how high school is nothing like the movies. The mass majority only expected the movies to hold truth however because in myriads of young adult movies they would see teenagers go to parties, have sex, sneak out the house, and other things a like which normalized those actions. So essentially when someone views media that portrays consistent stereotypes of a particular group, some may tend to associate it with real life.
