Ocean current movement can be affected by changes in density use salinity and temperature to explain how ocean currents rise and

fall (not tides & waves) from these changes

Explanation:

In the equatorial region, the oceans are heated more than in the polar regions. This is due to the way the sun rays ‘hit’ the different latitudes of earth due to its spherical nature. Due to their higher temperatures, they are less dense. In addition due to the fact that water at higher temperatures can dissolve more salts, the oceans at the equator are less concentrated with salts per volume compared to ocean water in the polar region.

In the poles, water is cooler and hence denser. Due to the low temperatures, the water can accommodate fewer salts hence the ocean waters have a higher salt concentration per volume.

The ocean currents from the equatorial region flow towards the poles on the surface of the oceans while the ocean's currents from the poles towards the equator flow on the bottom of the oceans because they are denser from the higher salinity concentrations and low temperatures.

When the polar current reaches the equatorial region, they upwell to replace the warmer currents moving towards the poles. The currents warm-up, become less dense and less concentrated with salts. The warm currents moving towards the polar region get cooler and denser. They also become more concentrated with salts and some of it precipitates to the bottom of the oceans when saturation point is reached.

summary of the impact of the physical environment on settlement patterns and economic activities for ukraine
natta225 [31]

The physical environment has played a very big role in the settlement patters in Ukraine, as well the economic activities of the people that lived in this area.

The settlement patterns in Ukraine are relatively simple, as most of the settlements have been made on the banks of the large rivers, such as the Dnipro and Dniester, and Don, as well as on the coastlines of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. So we can say that the settlements have been built in close proximity to the larger water bodies.

The location of the settlements around the water bodies was not a coincidence, as these water bodies were used for trade, so the people living in Ukraine were heavily engaged in the trade that was going through their territory. Also, Ukraine is part of the Eurasian steppe, so people were trading a lot on land as well, especially because they were a transition zone between Asia and Europe.

Answer by Mimiwhatsup: These 'rocks' are actually called fossils they are originally called sedimentary rocks as they are the only rocks that can undergo the certain process. Besides fossils regular rocks can be used to show how long they have been around there are these machines that show how long something has been around and what happened to it.

Oceanic Crust
Continental Crust
Oceanic crust is denser than continental, this is why continents are at higher elevation than oceans.
