Banikantha’s house looked out upon the stream. Every hut and stack in the place could be seen by the passing boatmen. I know not

if amid these signs of worldly wealth any one noticed the little girl who, when her work was done, stole away to the waterside and sat there. But here Nature fulfilled her want of speech and spoke for her. The murmur of the brook, the voice of the village folk, the songs of the boatmen, the cry of the birds and the rustle of trees mingled and were one with the trembling of her heart. They became one vast wave of sound which beat upon her restless soul. Which device does this passage illustrate best? irony characterization moral dilemma structure

What is a good thesis statement for people that are against book becoming banned?
julsineya [31]
You could start it with a question.
Like... “Is it right for a certain book to be banned because of a valid reason?” Or “Is it right to ban ANY sort of book from the public?”

Make the reader want to continue reading. Your thesis is supposed to catch the attention of someone.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more ideas!

Korolek [52]
Fiction is fantasy, make believe, not based on anything really true. There are branches of fiction, but this is just for the general fiction category.
Nonfiction is based on true facts. Bibliography's, autobiographies, newspapers and more are examples of nonfiction
A is a newspaper, so it's nonfiction
B is also nonfiction, as a biography is the story of one's life, all true events
C is directions. They tell you where to go, so it's nonfiction I suppose
D. Novels are generally FICTION, there ARE nonfiction novels, but this is your correct answer.
