The question revolves around Eliezer and his father's transfer to Buna and the main character's struggle for faith in God. Eliezer's doubts began in the lights of Nazi baby burning and child hanging. When the prisoners forced to watch the hangings, Eliezer remembers that someone was calling him and telling "Where is God now? Where is he?". Later Eliezer asks from himself that why should he thank for God and bless him.
