That depends from country to country but for example in England, they wouldn't go past their thirties. People would die young in their twenties because of their exposure to extreme working conditions and physical stress. Living into your fifties was almost impossible.

Why is it important to vote?

It is important for people to have their voices heard. A lot of people think "oh, my one vote won't matter", but because of the Electoral College, it does.

In the previous election (last year), more people didn't vote, than all the votes for Hillary Clinton and president Trump combined. Had the thousands of people that did not vote actually voted, we may have had a different outcome for this election.
Voting is a privilege. We should use it to try and get the best leaders for our country that we can.
