Answer:

C.Offspring show this trait even if only one parent contributes the allele.

Explanation:

Dominant trait is the one that is expressed in both heterozygous and homozygous genotypes. The heterozygous genotype carry one dominant and one recessive allele for a trait but exhibit the dominant phenotype only.

Example: A cross between pure breeding tall (TT) and pure breeding dwarf (tt) plant gives all tall (Tt) progeny. Here,  the tall progeny has received one "T" from tall parent and one "t" allele from the dwarf parent.

In what way do the nervous and endocrine systems differ in a way
Simora [160]

The nervous system communicates through electrical impulses and the communication is very fast. It works in a relay fashion, from point to point comparable to the way the old telephones systems used to work.

The endocrine system communicates by chemical signals via the bloodstream. Hormones are secreted into the blood and extra cellular fluids, then transported to target cells, which must bear a receptor to be able to bind to a specific hormone, and respond.

Hormones are chemical messengers secreted into blood or extracellular fluid that affect the function of other cells.

Endocrine communication is not quite as fast as the nervous system communication

in a series of experiments Griffith infected mi've with oa nonvirulent r strain bacteria and highly virulent s strain bacteria.
Andrej [43]

Answer:

This demonstrate the transforming principle.

Explanation:

Griffith performed the experiment on the virulent bacteria and non- virulent bacteria. The non- virulent bacteria produce rough colonies and did  not cause pneumonia. The virulent bacteria produces smooth colonies that kill the mice and caused pneumonia.

When Griffith mixed the on virulent bacteria and heat killed virulent bacteria he found that the mice were killed. He concluded that there was transforming principle that turns the non- virulent bacteria into virulent bacteria from the heat killed bacteria. Something, has been transferred from the heat killed bacteria to the non- virulent bacteria. Later, he found that dead mice blood sample contained both the non-virulent rough bacteria strains and virulent smooth strains of bacteria.
