Media coverage of the Vietnam War did increase demands for peace from the American public. Americans saw on television many reports that were very disturbing. They thought the war was unnecessary and that too many of our soldiers were losing their lives or limbs in a war that had no end. The American soldiers were not honored like soldiers from other wars! There was not great respect shown for them as they returned from service in Vietnam. This was created from the way the media handled reports!
I think that the first one is correct.
Today, the term Islamic art describes all of the arts that were produced in the lands where Islam was the dominant religion or the religion of those who ruled. Unlike the terms Christian art, Jewish art, and Buddhist art—which refer only to religious art of these faiths—the term Islamic art is not used merely to describe religious art or architecture but applies to all art forms produced in the Islamic world.
Thus, the term Islamic art refers not only to works created by Muslim artists, artisans, and architects or for Muslim patrons. It encompasses works created by Muslim artists for patrons of any faith, including—Christians, Jews, or Hindus—and the works created by Jews, Christians, and others, living in Islamic lands, for patrons, Muslim and otherwise.
There were several differences that separated the Soviet Union and the US after World War II.
1) The US had a democratic political system while the Soviet Union used a communist system- The communist system revolves around the government having significant control over the media, economy, and other facets of society. On the other hand, a democratic system gives people the power to pick their representatives.
2) The US favored capitalism while the Soviet Union favored a command economy. - The command economy resulted in the Soviet Union's central government telling businesses what they can and cannot produce. America's capitalist system allows competition between businesses and little government interference decide the direction of the US economy.
