It is divided and spread into various tributaries among the largest is the snake tributary. The river consists of fresh water and makes it ideal for drinking purposes and fishes of various species present provide food and job opportunities to the native people. The hydro power formed from the river is used to supply Washington and provides continuous power for survival.
