The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George III of Britain after the French and Indian War, and forbade North American colonists from settling past a fixed line along the Appalachian Mountains.
Proclamation of 1763 was promulgated by King George III of Great Britain. Stated in this proclamation was the organization of its new territory, the North American empire and the stabilization relations with the North American Indians. Didn't like it/angered by Parliament. Boycotted goods from England and smuggled there way across this law.
