In this virtual lab you have examined different muscles that allow frogs to efficiently move in their aquatic environment. More
specifically, frogs’ legs and arms contain extensor and flexor muscles. In a brief essay discuss how frogs utilize these muscles in order to swim, jump, and do other frog things efficiently. In your response, include specific names of these muscles located in the upper and lower limbs of the frog.
The Musculoskeletal system is an exploration of frog muscles and bones . Frongs has and extrodinaryt skeletal structure that is called Endoskeleton. This skeleton creates the body shape of a frog allowing it to protect the vital organs, and also help it to jump and swim. The rectus abdominus bends the spine downward and also add an extra layer of protection for the frog's internal organs. The prectoralis major are responsible for moving the arms at the shoulders. These muscles are used by the frog to hold and push their chest and head off the ground. The external obliques pull the spin so the frog's upper body can twist. This allows the frog to steer while swimming. The adductor magnus holds the thighs closer together. Satorious allows the lower leg to kick out. Gracilis majors are flexers they allow the lower leg to move back. Gastrocnemius allows the foot to bend down. Tibialis Anterior Longus pulls the foot up. Biceps Brachii pull the lower arm and hand closer to the elbow joint. Triceps brachii are the opposite of Bisecps brachii they allow the arm to pull away.
This isnt all of the info but hoped this helped.
Frog uses front and rear muscles of leg and arm to move
Explanation:
Just like human beings, frogs also have skeletal muscular system for movement.
The skeletal muscular system consists of striated muscles that are attached to the bones of the limbs or other respective bones through tendons (also called as Apo neuroses). A frog moves by extending, contracting or relaxing skeletal muscles which is co-ordinated through brain. Frogs use following structures to move –
a) Gluteus
b) Femoris
c) gastrocnemius
d) pectorals (arm /leg area)
e) deltoids ( chest area)
The muscles in the rear legs of frog is large and strong as compared to the front legs’ muscles
Yes, it is possible because, if the sperm from the male goes into the egg of the female it can cause the female to get pregnant by that male. And its very rare for the female not to get pregnant after having inter course with the male. That's only if they had unprotected sex.
