Answer:

C. 3/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability that M will occur =1-0.8=0.2=1/5

Probability that R will occur = 1-0.6=0.4=2/5

Probability that either of them will occur= 1/5 + 2/5= 3/5

Given: △ABC, m∠A=60° m∠C=45°, AB=8 Find: Perimeter of △ABC, Area of △ABC
jarptica [38.1K]

We are given

△ABC, m∠A=60° m∠C=45°, AB=8

Firstly, we will find all angles and sides

Calculation of angle B:

we know that sum of all angles is 180

m∠A+ m∠B+m∠C=180

we can plug values

60°+ m∠B+45°=180

m∠B=75°

Calculation of BC:

we can use law of sines

\frac{AB}{sin(C)}=\frac{BC}{sin(A)}

now, we can plug values

\frac{8}{sin(45)}=\frac{BC}{sin(60)}

BC=\frac{8}{sin(45)} \times sin(60)

BC=9.798

Calculation of AC:

\frac{AB}{sin(C)}=\frac{AC}{sin(B)}

now, we can plug values

\frac{8}{sin(45)}=\frac{AC}{sin(75)}

AC=\frac{8}{sin(45)} \times sin(75)

AC=10.928

Perimeter:

p=AB+BC+AC

we can plug values

p=10.928+8+9.798

p=28.726

Area:

we can use formula

A=\frac{1}{2}AB \times AC \times sin(A)

now, we can plug values

A=\frac{1}{2}8 \times 10.928 \times sin(60)

A=37.85570...............Answer

What does mean, median and mode mean?
uranmaximum [27]
Mean: Fancy word for the "average". Add all of the numbers up and divide by how many numbers there are

Example: Say you have the numbers 3, 4, 6 and 7. Add all of them up to get 20. Since we started with 4 numbers, you do 20 / 4 = 5. The average of those four numbers is 5

Median: This one is weird. Basically, you have to line all the numbers up from least to greatest, and then count to the middle.

Example: Say you have the numbers 3, 7, 3, 4, 5, 2, 4
First, line them up from least to greatest: 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 7
Then count to the middle of the 7 numbers
4 is in the middle (there are three numbers before and after it), so 4 is the median

Sidenote: if you have an even number of numbers, like 2, 2, 3, 3, you go in the middle and say 2.5

Mode: This one is pretty easy. Mode is basically the number that is most common in a set of numbers

Example: Say you have the numbers 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 8, 8, 8,
There are four 3's, three 8's, two 5's, and one 4
3 occurs the most amount of times so it is the mode.

I hope that makes sense.
