After Gulliver sails to the East Indies again, pirates attack his ship. One of the pirate grows angry because of Gulliver's remarks and sends him out to sea on a small boat. Gulliver is able to find an island, and he sets a camp here. However, he soon notices a landmass located right above the island, in the sky. He shouts up to its inhabitants, who lower the island and allow him into their kingdom: Laputa.

Which factor does the author believe had the greatest impact on Sitting Bull's victory at the Battle of Little Bighorn?
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

The answer is letter A, his ability to understand his enemy.

Explanation:

"Sitting Bull" was an important figure for the Sioux warriors. He was a very courageous leader who also had the wisdom, especially when it comes to fighting the white settlers. He became very famous when he was able to wipe out at least 700 men under Lieutenant George Armstrong Custer in the "Battle of the Bighorn." The US army were outnumbered by Sitting Bull's forces. This was because he had the ability to understand his enemy. He had some encounters with the Americans, thus it allowed him to know their strategies at war.

The defeat of the US army angered the US government. Thus, the Native Americans were called "bloodthirsty."
