I would not have dealt with it any differently because draco has been known to lie and have it out for Harry

its a little unfair that she takes 20 points from draco but then she takes 50 <em>each</em> from hermionie, harry and nevile.

she handled it very well. she has yet to know that informing snape or dracos parents doesnt do anything. no favoritism. i would have done the exact same thing knowing what McGonagall knows.

she has yet to know about other students out of bed. she just thinks he is trying to stir up trouble by lieing about other students and what they are doing. she could have taken away more points in my opinion, maybe like 10 more. in her eyes he is out of bed, making up lies, and trying to get other students in trouble. i would have taken like 10 points away for each of thoes.
