PLEASE HELP - from book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury Formulate a thesis for the following prompt: What is Bradbury's message?
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Bradbury wrote this essential dystopian novel describing what would be the main threat to the future of culture: in the future censorship will reach the status of unnecessary if we can make no one bother to inquire, to worry about challenging their thoughts. In opening a book.

For many, this text is correct as a predictor of the contradictions of the modern era: in times in which the social mass is so plural, the media are more careful than ever to transmit messages that do not offend anyone, so they bet on a lowest common denominator that ends up suppressing the plurality of ideas and the development of knowledge. A radically anti-intellectual culture.

He wants the reader to be able to perceive this and not let technology consume it entirely. That he inquires and questions things.

What originally prompted malcom x to educate himself
Vedmedyk [2.9K]
What prompted him was that he was imprisoned.

Malcolm X taught himself from dictionaries and books how to become literate. This literacy prompted Malcolm X to find an interest in history, but not just history, the history "white men" left out. He became further interested in this topic, and found himself dig deeper and deeper and he gave all the credit to the homemade education he gave himself in prison.

I need help dont we all
Leokris [45]

Answer:  Its either A or D

Explanation:

The reason I say A:

The author includes that Jeremy had gotten paint everywhere, even on the ceiling. Jeremy had also helped himself to her paint sets ( In my opinion this was a problem )

The reason I think its D:

The other gives a short bio on what they both like.  ( I don't think it would be this but go with your gut feeling!)

disclaimer:  this is just my opinion! choose whatever one you think is correct!.

The reason i do not think its C :  Nowhere in the text is there a specific detail about the paint except that jeremy is being messy.

The reason i do not think its D:   Chronological order has to do with stories that are told in order of time.

Disclaimer again:    As i said before, you do not have to choose this , this is just what i think. Go with what you think is correct... If its wrong come back!.

What was the relationship between Doug Vakoch and Philip Lubin
fgiga [73]

Answer: The story is about the different ways scientists use maths. Vakoch said they don't need extra terrestrial to speak English or German so they need to look  into mathematics.

He said even in 1820, the astronomers used geometry. One scientist suggested in drawing triangles. Another suggested in making a circle and filling it with kerosene so when lit, it can be seen from space at night.

Then they used the binary system and some codes to send messages. Then they used pictures and started with simple counting.
