Conflict can simply be defined as a disagreement between two or more people. This is also when two or more people has opposing or clashing ideas, actions or decisions. A situation of conflict can happen due to fear, by force or by fund.

There are different stages in conflict processing.Pondy in 1967 gave 5 process model of conflict. They are latent conflict, perceived conflict, felt conflict, manifest conflict and lastly conflict aftermath.

Manifest conflict : in this stage of conflict processing, it involves the both parties in the conflict tries to engage in certain behavior that will bring up or invoke the response of the both parties to each other. When a response is evoked, it can lead to different response such as open aggression, withdrawal of one or both parties or even apathy. Example is when a product manager calls an employee under him aside to discuss with him, a phone call or face to face conversation, messages and others.
