jeyben [28]

Answer:

D.

Explanation:

The given text is taken from John Winthrop's letter to Sir Nathaniel in 1634. In his letter he described about the rising conflict with the Natives. He described about the deaths inccurred on the Natives because of epidemic of small pox.

Through this letter we can infer that the colonist's attiude towards the Natives was that they felt that had a calling to reach out to the Natives and preach Christianity to them.

This claim is evident in the last line of the letter in which Winthrop writes that the <em>'Lord has cleared their title.'</em>

The role of the U.S. in the Korean Conflict _____. was unwarranted spurred the establishment of the Communist regime only lasted
puteri [66]

Answer:

supported a non-communist government

Explanation:

The involvement of the USA in the Korean conflict was because of two reasons, one being to stop the communist spreading and influence, the other was to gain control over this very important strategic peninsula.

In order to not allow the communism to take over the peninsula, the USA got involved military, supporting the non-communist government from the South, fighting against the Soviet and Chinese supported communist North. Since non of the big forces managed to win, the Korean Peninsula was divided into spheres of interest, with North Korea being the communist one, and the South Korea being the capitalist one, thus dividing the same people in two different countries that developed deep hatred between each other.
