I believe the answer is: Returning her purse

Tom and lily found the purse in their search for sunshine. After they returned the purse to Ms. Hatching, she offered tom and lily to stay a while in her cottage. After they sleep on the cottage they were overjoyed because the cottage is bathed with sun shine that they've been looking for.

How does Ashputtle’s interactions with her father differ from that of her stepsisters interaction with him?
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

The difference between ashputtle and her step sisters interaction with their father was on the kind of gifts they requested.

Explanation:

When Ashputtles father asked that they made requests on the kind of gifts they wanted. The step sisters wanted fine things. One wanted beautiful dresses and the other diamonds and pearls. But Ashputtles interaction with her dad showed that she didn't need any such thing as the sisters. What she wanted was quite simple, she wanted her father to bring her the first branch that brushes his hat on his way home.
