A long time ago in an old dry land there were 30 people living in one town and they needed rain so bad the grass was brown there crops were dead and they were about to burn up.

One day they all got down on their knees and they prayed to the GOD of weather. And the god of weather took it the wrong way and he punished them all. He gave them their but just a little too much rain. The sky was lighting up and the ground was shaking and they got really scared. They went into there houses and they got down again and prayed again and said " please make it stop raining we have had enough rain".

But the God was still mad at them and he made it rain harder and harder. One day they all died off because they drowned because of all the rain. And the God thought it was funny later on that day it stopped raining and about 20 minutes later a little girl came out and the God saw her and he took her up and raised her to later become the Godess of weather.

And at the time the little girl didn't know that he killed all those people including her mom and dad. Later on she found out about what he did and so she came up with a plan, and she sent him down to the village and he went and she trapped him down there and she made it rain and rain and rain and rain, and finally he died just like all of her family and friends.

And then later on some other villagers moved into the old village and she answer her prayers and she let it rain but not too much rain.

No way someone can help you with that!!!

1) This assignment is given to you to test your creativity and how good you are with English in general (Writing, Wording, Spelling, Creativity, etc.).

If someone else did this for you, you would never understand, learn, or get anything.

2) You will receive tons of same assignments like this one. If you don't do it now, when will you? It is now or never.

3) Even if someone continued doing this kind of assignment for you, you will someday still fall in a situation when no one can help. Think of your future, will you always rely on others, or will you try and overcome what you think is impossible?

4) These type of assignments are important no matter how bad they look like. They test your skill in understanding, speaking, spelling, etc. These characteristics are needed in your life. You won't learn from answers but you can learn from your own mistakes.

5) I hate to break it to you, but I also not a fan of writing summaries, essays, or reports. But I know I have to because no one else can except me. Each one of us are different and have different taste. Only you can make your own creative work and nobody else can for you. I am sorry if this might offend yall.

Read this excerpt from “The Black Cat” by Edgar Allan Poe.
Anestetic [448]

A. Readers gain insight into the narrator's belief that he is possessed by a demon.

This is the best option because the passage describes how he believes he has been possessed by a demon. From this passage, we don't actually know what happens once he is possessed. Option B says that it gives a reason for the narrator's behavior, but we don't know what that behavior is to make this a correct choice. Option C is wrong because first person invites us in to the narrator's mind. It doesn't not keep us at a distance. Option D is also not correct because we don't know anything about his treatment of a cat from this passage.

Refer to Explorations in Literature for a complete version of this story.
trapecia [35]
The correct option is B.
In the sentence in option B, the narrator is appealing to the feelings of others, that is, he was looking for compassion. He was creating a relationship between himself and the others by saying that everyone has in one time or the other commit sin.

in what other circumstances can the dangers of mob rule and mass hysteria be seen as giving rise to grave injustice
Anettt [7]

Answer:

The Crucible explores how mass hysteria can devastate a community. Hysteria is most clearly seen in the villagers' irrational acceptance of the girls’ fabricated claims of witchcraft. One specific example of hysteria occurs in Act III when the girls, led by Abigail, accuse Mary Warren of witchcraft to prevent her from testifying against them. Though multiple people (including Mary) have claimed that the witchcraft accusations are false, the court refuses to be swayed.Mass hysteria is a social phenomenon where imaginary fear and anxiety spread uncontrollably throughout a population. Throughout the play "The Crucible," hysteria regarding witchcraft spreads through the community of Salem and results in the numerous deaths of innocent victims. Following the initial accusations, Abigail and the other girls falsely testify that certain individuals are involved in witchcraft and have begun to curse community members. During the trials, each girl feigns illness and gets caught up in the hysteria. The girls follow Abigail's erratic behavior and actually believe that they are being attacked by a person's spirit. Nowhere is hysteria more evident than in Act Three when Abigail mentions that there is an invisible bird flying throughout the room and begs Mary Warren not to hurt her. The other girls join Abigail and begin to repeat everything that Mary says. Mary becomes terrified and joins the hysterical girls as they begin to accuse John Proctor of colluding with the Devil. During her hysterical fit, Mary Warren says, "He come at me by night and every day

to sign, to sign, to-" (Miller, 121). The hysteria creates a tension filled atmosphere, which angers Proctor to the point of saying, "God is dead" (Miller, 122). Unfortunately, the court officials believe the hysterical girls and sentence many innocent individuals to death.
