The countries with low est human development are located in Africa.

Explanation:

All of the bottom 10 countries when it comes to human development are located on the continent of Africa. This shouldn't come as surprise when we take in consideration the conditions in which many African countries are in.  When it comes to human development, there are many aspects that are taken in account, such as:

  • economy
  • political atmosphere
  • infrastructure
  • education system
  • healthcare

All of the African countries that are on the bottom of the list have terrible results in all of these aspects. Their economies are weak, often dependent on one or two goods. The corruption is widespread. The education system is terrible and lot of people don't have any education or very level of it. The healthcare is poor and most of the people still can not afford it. The infrastructure is old and bad condition, as well as lacking.

Which African region relies on the production of oil phosphates and natural gas as its main economic activities
laiz [17]

The correct answer is - North Africa.

North Africa is the region in Africa that has its main economic activities based around the production of oil phosphates and natural gas. The reasons for this are that the region has solid amounts of reserves of oil and natural gas in its territory, but also because big portion of the other economic activities are restricted because of the geography of the region. This region is almost entirely covered by desert, with little pockets that have Mediterranean climate along the coast. That is not allowing for lot of economic activities to take place, so the oil and the natural gas are by far the most exploited and bring in the biggest income.
