I would also agree, that The woman in the blue dress is the complete subject

The= article

woman=subject

(in the blue dress)= prepositional phrase... in being the preposition, the being the article word, blue being the adjective, and dress being the object of the preposition

hurried= would act as your verb

across the street= another prepositional phrase

Hopefully this helped and good luck.

The deed that Hedda refest to here is what she thinks is Lovborg’s suicide.

Hedda, while talking to Brack, characterizes Lovborg's suicide as "<em>the last great act</em>", claiming that she admires that "<em>he should have the will and the strength to turn away from the banquet of life</em>".

She believes that Lovborg was brave upon deciding to take his own life so young, as the quote clearly states ("a deed of deliberate courage".)

Which words in the sentence are the complete adjective clause?
Stolb23 [73]
"the book that I liked best" is the complete subject clause because it replaces the subject (the proof is that it agrees with the verb was). The adjectival clause is then "the one about the big fish" because it describes the subject in more detail (which is always the function of the adjective).
