Answer:

62.5% and 37.5%.

Explanation:

The computation of percentage is shown below:-

Let us assume the X be the weight in Risky Asset

And, 1 - X is the weight in Risk Free asset.

SO,

Particulars         Rate          Weight         Weighted rate

Stock               11.00%            X                  0.11X

Risk free assets 3%            1 - X              0.03 - 0.03X

So, the equation will be

0.03 + 0.08 X = 0.08

0.08 X = 0.08 - 0.03

0.08 X = 0.05

X = 0.05 ÷ 0.08

= 0.625

Cash balance, beginning $ 21,000

Add cash receipts 117,000

Total cash available--(Cash balance + cash receipts)= $138 ,000

Less cash disbursements $ 86,000

Excess (deficiency) of cash available over disbursements (The beginning balance plus the expected cash receipts less the expected cash disbursement)  ($ 21,000+$117,000)--$86,000 = $52,000

Decision making can be a difficult process if managers are not well-versed in recognizing and addressing various hindrances they
kompoz [17]

Answer

Some of the hindrances of rational decision maker by managers are;

• Cognitive biases

• Time pressure

• Group conflict

Explanation

Decision making process is controlled by an individual’s personality and behavioral traits. Objective judgments by managers can be disrupted by subjective biases. Cognitive biases such as halo effect and overconfidence can act as a barrier to rational decision making.

Time pressure can distort the process of making a rational decision thus resulting to less objective individual judgment which is influenced by intuition. Managers with ample time arrive at a more logical and highly crafted decision than those who feel they have insufficient time.

Both interpersonal and group dynamics can create a barrier towards making an effective decision.
