In 104 BC the Chinese cavalry of 60,000 was sent to Davan by Han Emperor Wu-ti. The war was caused by argamaks – “heavenly horses of Ferghana” as they are called in all sources. These horses had great power and endurance and “sweat blood” that the Chinese regarded as a sign of their divine origin.

How does the snow make Aaron and Zlateh feel at the beginning of the story?
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

Aaron had never experienced snow so thick and dense. It covered their path completely and blinded Aaron to his surroundings. At first, Zlateh didn't mind, but as the snow fell harder and piled up faster, she began to turn again to Aaron, looking questioningly at him. Aaron hoped for a passing cart to offer them a lift, but none came.

Which statement best describes the relationship between the narrative style and the genre of "The Tell-Tale Heart"?
german

Answer:

Using an unreliable and excitable narrator allows Poe to explore irrationality and strong emotions.

Explanation:

The protagonist of The Tell-Tale Heart is a lunatic, a crazy man who is irritated by the old man in whose house he lives in to the point where he decides to kill him. During the story, we see the protagonist's erratic thoughts, maniacal ideas, and ultimately, his impromptu decision to murder the old man because of his 'devil eye.'

The narrator is unreliable, meaning that we cannot trust him because of his jumbled thoughts and powerful emotions.
