The product of two rational numbers will be rational. Why? A rational number is described as a number that can represented as a/b where b does not equal 0.

An irrational cannot be represented as a/b where b does not equal 0.

Thus, if you multiply two numbers in their a/b equivalent, you will get an a/b where b is not equal to 0 form.

Example:

Multiply 10 by 4.

We can represent 10 with the fraction equivalent 10/1. Same goes with 4. 4/1.

Now multiply.

10/1 * 4/1 = 40/1 = 40

As we can see, the number is still an irrational number.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: y = cos(sin^{-1}x))

As the domain for the inverse sine function is 1  ≤  x  ≤  1  as this is the range for the sine function.

The range for the function is the same as the range for the cosine function, 1  ≤  y  ≤  1

As

sin^{2}x +cos^{2}x = 1

So, using the identity cos(x) = \pm \sqrt{1-sin^{2}(x) }

y = \pm \sqrt{1-sin^{2}(sin^{-1}(x)) }

As the sin and inverse sin function do cancel each other, so only x² is left.

Hence,

y = \pm \sqrt{1-x^{2} ; -1\leq x\leq 1

Find out the how many kilobytes have been downloaded so far .
To prove
As given
While waiting for a video game to download.
notice that 30 percent of 32000 kilobytes have been downloaded so far .
30% is written in the decimal form.

= 0.30
kilobytes uses in downloaded = 0.30 × 32000
= 9600 kilobytes
Therefore 9600 kilobytes have been downloaded so far .
