History

Answer: In both of the uprisings slaves were executed.

Explanation:

One way that the uprisings were different is that in the New York uprising slaves did kill some white men. In the Richmond uprising, the slaves never got the chance to kill any men.

In Gabriel's Rebellion, the leader of the slave uprising was Gabriel. His own people turned on him and told their owners. Another slave saw him and the others escaping and turned him in. He was found and returned to Richmond and was then hanged with 23 other slaves.

In the 1912 New York Uprising, The slaves did revolt without being told on and succeeded in killing 9 white men. There was an additional 6 men who were injured during the uprising.

In both instances, there were around the same number of slaves. In Richmond there were 24 and New York 23. However, they charged 70 men in the uprising even though they were not involved. there were 21 slaves who were executed.

What was the purpose of the dutch east india company
Grace [21]

Answer:

The purpose was

 • Business,
 • Research,
 • Establishment.

Explanation:

The Dutch legislature granted the company a business pool in the streams connecting the Cape of Good Hope at the southern point of Africa and the Straits of Magellan among the Atlantic and Pacific oceans with the power to close treaties with regional princes, to construct fortresses and control armed troops, and to bring on governmental purposes through executives who were wanted to get an affirmation of loyalty to the Dutch administration. Following the command of powerful governors-general, various reputably Jan Pieterszoon Coen (1618–23) and Anthony van Diemen (1636–45), the organization was powerful to destroy the British squadron and largely dismiss the Portuguese in the East Indies.

Legislative oversight
Dennis_Churaev [7]

The correct answer is D.

Legislative or Congressional oversight refers to the surveillance performed by the US Congress on the Executive power (government) and all the agencies that conform it. Such surveillance is generally conducted by the Congress comitees and it includes the review and monitoring of programs, and policy implementations.

This Congressional power is a mechanism embodied within the System of Checks and Balances. The System of Checks and Balances is designed to preserve the division of powers between the three branches: legislative (Congress), executive (Government) and judiciary (courts system), so that none of them gathers enough power to overrule the others. With this aim, each of the branches is granted powers (expressed or implicit) to supervise the other two.
