There several things I would enjoy about being self-sufficient, but there are also things about it that I would not enjoy at all. Starting with the advantages, being self-sufficient would give me a great degree of freedom and independence that I do not have while I still rely on my parents. It would also make me more responsible since I would have to solve my own problems.

Self-sufficiency also has its downsides, though. As a recently self-sufficient individual, it would be difficult for me to manage my time and finances and I might not be very successful at first. Being totally self-sufficient, I might also feel somewhat alone at first after becoming used to sharing everything with the rest of my family.
