Answer:

The details describe the important role Muslims played in spreading knowledge throughout the world.

Explanation:

Sugar Changed the World: A Story of Magic, Spice, Slavery, Freedom, and Science by Marc and Budhos Aronson wrote about the most important spices in our daily lives. They traced the emergence of sugar in our lives and how it came to be one of the most important basic necessity of humans.

The given passage from the book details how the Muslims contributed a lot to the spreading of the knowledge which then plays a huge a big role in the knowledge about sugar. The translation of the ancient Greek texts, along with the knowledge of the Koran, all played a part in the Muslims' attaining the process of sugar plantation and harvesting. This knowledge was then spread and taught wherever they go in their process of conquering lands all around the Mediterranean Sea.

Identify the adjectives in the following sentence.
wolverine [178]

The correct option is B: new, overwhelming.

Adjectives are usually used to modify nouns. In this case, in the sentence "[although] the new students worked hard, they could barely keep up with the overwhelming amount of homework", "new" modifies "students" and "overwhelming" modifies "amount of homework".

The other options contain "barely" which is an adverb, not an adjective. Moreover, "hard" is also used as an adverb in the sentence. Adverbs such as "barely" modify a verb. That is to say, they add information about HOW an action is.

Students who use the exact words of the author are what
AlexFokin [52]
A student who uses the exact word of a writer are called copywriter.
Because A student or any person must not use the exact word of what is written by someone. It will mean copying of someone’s work. If you’re researching and looking for something to be use, just get the idea and rephrase each statement that a writer stated in his or her article. Copying someone’s work is like robbing his or her piece. It’s not bad to use their idea but to use even the exact words that he or she uses, that matters already.
