Pip requests that Miss Havisham

English
1 answer:
shutvik [7]3 years ago

Great Expectation by Charles Dickens follows the life of Phillip Pirrip, also called as Pip.

Pip requests that Miss Havisham C. carry on his intention to invest in Herbert's business.

Having discovered miss Havisham, not his anonymous benefactor, for deceiving him he asks to do this duplicate action done for his friend, Herbert. He asks her to hide his involvement stating, "Miss Havisham, if you would spare the money to do my friend Herbert a lasting service in life, but which from the nature of the case must be done without his knowledge, I could show you how."

However, his request to Miss Havisham is moderately ironic. Earlier she portrayed to be supporting Pip in a transformation into gentleman whereas now she would actually support a future of a young man, Herbert. This request also portrays pip to be changed into a sympathetic and humble person towards others. Hence, he reflects the theme of redemption.

Read the excerpt from "The Crab That Played with the Sea.” He went North, Best Beloved, and he found All-the-Elephant-there-was
leonid [27]

Things turn into geographical features of the Earth, such as the Himalayas, when the Eldest Magician blows on them. The author refers to the animals as "All-the-Elephant-there-was," "All-the-Beaver-there-was," and "All-the-Turtle-there-was."

The question asks for details that support the conclusion that this story is about the creation of the world. In creation stories, the narrator is telling about how something is created. The first correct choice explains how the mountains were created. The second correct choice shows that there was only one animal per species of elephant, beaver, and turtle. All of the other options do not help to prove that this is a creation story.

A body moving with uniform acceleration has a velocity of 15.3 cm/s when its x coordinate is 4.3 cm. If its x coordinate 1.72 s
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

a=-22.266cm/s^2

Explanation:

A body that moves with constant acceleration means that it moves in "a uniformly accelerated movement", which means that if the velocity is plotted with respect to time we will find a line and its slope will be the value of the acceleration, it determines how much it changes the speed with respect to time.

When performing a mathematical demonstration, it is found that the equations that define this movement are as follows.

Vf=Vo+a.t  (1)\\\\

{Vf^{2}-Vo^2}/{2.a} =ΔX(2)\\\\

X=Xo+ VoT+0.5at^{2}    (3)\\

Where

Vf = final speed

Vo = Initial speed

T = time

A = acceleration

X = displacement

In conclusion to solve any problem related to a body that moves with constant acceleration we use the 3 above equations and use algebra to solve

FOR THIS PROBLEM

X=-2.32cm

Xo=4.3cm

Vo=15.3cm/s

t=1.72s

WE USE THE ECUATION 3

a=(X-Xo-Vot)2/t^2

a=(-2.32-4.3-15.3x1.72)2/1.72^2

a=-22.266cm/s^2
