<em>"Romeo and Juliet" and "Pyramus and Thisbe"</em> are two stories that share a main theme: an all-consuming love. Also, in both stories, the main characters are two young people that fall in deeply in love with each other, but whose families are mortal enemies, making their love story a forbidden one. In both scenarios, the star-crossed lovers get to the point in which they cannot keep on hiding their feelings for each other, and in both cases, tragedy occurs and they both end up dead. These two stories share the main theme of love, an all consuming, overpowering and almost violent love, that mixed with tragedy and bad fortune, ends up with the main characters dead.
