I believe it is the last one, it allows the author to convey information clearly in a formal and professional way because, in the passage he isn’t giving hints on how to impress them so it can’t be the third one. The second one is incorrect because he isn’t expressing feelings, their simply telling him what is going to happen. The first one is incorrect because even though he is giving details on what to do, it’s more in a professional way not casual, so I believe it is the last one.
