No, as you get older the rate at which your cells divide, slows down. Like when your little your cells are dividing at a fast to help your body grow, however, when you are an adult your cells do not need to do this anymore and only divide to replace damaged cells or cells that have died.

DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

haploid/diploid

Explanation:

The number of chromosomes can also be expressed as haploid or diploid, instead of 1n for one copy and 2n for two copies.

The haploid number of chromosomes also refers to a copy of the chromosomes or half of the genome of organisms while the diploid number of chromosomes refers to the double or complete set of chromosomes in the genome of organisms.

So, in other words: n = haploid and 2n - diploid.

Natasha_Volkova [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is - stomata, transpiration.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process that uses light to convert CO2 and water to produce sugar and oxygen. The carbon dioxide is taken up by the little holes-like structures present on the spongy layer of the leaves called stomata. These structures are used for gaseous exchange, taken up oxygen, and releasing oxygen.

Stomata also help in releasing water vapors from the aerial parts during the process of transpiration to prevent the plants to burn in a dry environment and wind.
