What are the reasons loyalists were neutral had for not choosing a side?

History

Answer:

I believe is because they were not unsatisfied with Great Britain and it's acts on the Colony.

Explanation:

When we analyze the American Revolution and look at each side, it's common to interpret their relationship based on the concept of good against evil, or good actions and bad actions. However, we forget that the war was fought by common people, with their motivations. And that's the case of Loyalists. They were not unsatisfied with Great Britain, maybe because they were wealthy enough; or because they believed that Great Britain's actions were normal. Or because they didn't believed that the fight against England was not only unnecessary but wrong.

Do you feel that the costs of the war 2, both in human lives and financially, was worth fighting the war?
denpristay [2]

this is an opinion, so i really don’t think what others respond should have an effect on your personal answer. however, no, i don’t think the costs of ww2 were worth the casualties and financial loss because since it grew gradually, there was a generous amount of time to negotiate beforehand. however, i’m sure a lot of people disagree with this. see what other have to say.

How was gold first discovered in the transcontinental railroad?
Soloha48 [4]
I think your question means how did the discovery of gold contribute to the creation of the transcontinental railroad. There had been some movements toward westward settlement in the 1840s, but that trend accelerated dramatically with the discovery of gold in California. James Marshall's finding of gold at Sutter's Mill in California in 1848 led to a "gold rush" in the decade that followed, with 1849 seeing a huge influx of people to California. (Thus we refer to the '49ers.) The swift settlement of California added incentive to build a transcontinental railway. The Pacific Railroad Act of 1862 established the charter for doing that. The First Transcontinental Railroad was completed in 1869.
